Acts 2:44 says, “And all who believed were together and had all things in common.” We unapologetically value five core areas in our church. These values identify who we are, rally us toward all that we desire to accomplish, and unite us in fellowship.

EVANGELISM – “by Preaching the good news of Jesus Christ.”
We are a community of believers dedicated to preaching the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to those who will believe and make them disciples. Our role is to lead our generation into a transforming relationship with Jesus, and an authentic community with each other, so that everyone in Indianapolis and beyond can flourish.
COMPASSION – “Compassion is the model of our church.”
At Alpha Omega Worship Church, we believe that only compassion can change lives.
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.”
1Piter 3:8
We want to be a community with a spirit of compassion for others, assistance, and mutual aid. We believe that only a life lived for others can have an impact on our world and our environment.
We know that refugees and immigrants face stressors and have significant obstacles to overcome, such as the inability to access employment, which leads to financial hardship and a lack of affordable housing. As a Christian church led by refugees and immigrants, Alpha Omega Worship Church intervenes to provide several services in a community of more than 11 different countries, all of African origin, with different religions and speaking more than 10 different languages.
Our team of professional and qualified volunteers offers the following services to refugees and immigrants with our own financial means:
1

We help refugees access employment.
4

We transport the shelters to medical appointments in hospitals.
7

We provide interpretation at the DMV to obtain a learner’s permit.
10

We provide Education and training.
2

For those who do not have the means of transport, we accompany them from one employment agency to another and help them apply for work because many cannot read or write English.
5

We transport the shelters to the market for their weekly supply of groceries.
8

We help people learn to drive on the road until they get a driver’s license.
11

We have an English round table every Sunday after worship. (ESL)
3

We transport the shelters to the workplace daily.
6

We offer translation of various letters and documents.
9

We assist with housing applications and food stamps.
12

We provide cultural orientation.

OUR GREAT CHALLENGE
FIRST CHALLENGE: Buy a place of worship
Since February 2020, the day of our first big gathering, the Church has continued to grow, and the place has become very small. In a room with a capacity of 70, we meet with more than 100 people. Many of our activities (choir rehearsals, meetings for young people or mothers) are held in our homes or in the yard due to the lack of space. Example: Because of the lack of space, the children meet in the Pastor’s office, which has become too small for them.
Many of our groups meet on Saturdays. But, due to the lack of space, they meet in the courtyard. Two musical groups compete for a single room for their rehearsals on Saturday; the intercessory group and the youth group should also meet on the same Saturday. Our situation has become unavoidable.

SECOND CHALLENGE: Find a bus to bring the faithful to the Church.
The city is big, and we have only one meeting place for the faithful. This is a problem that we must solve immediately.
I would like to invite everyone to team up with us to help make a difference.
SERVE – “For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another” Gallates. 5:13

ENGAGEMENT – “… to as many people as possible …”
The joyful responsibility of every member of Alpha Omega Worship Church includes fully engaging in the life of the church. By participating in each area of service, a member will experience the fullness of this church fellowship.

RESTORING – We believe that only the word of God and compassion for all bring complete restoration.
